Our Lady of Victories Catholic Primary School

What is a Giving Day?

Below you will find answers to many common questions about Our Lady of Victories Giving Day

What is Our Lady of Victories Giving Day?

It is a 36-hour focused challenge to bring our community together, both virtually and physically, to celebrate and fundraise in the spirit of all that is outstanding about Our Lady of Victories. All the money raised will go towards renewing, enhancing and redecorating our hallways.

Our Lady of Victories has always been sustained by the generosity of our community. Since our founding, the support of the community has helped us nurture every child in faith, learning and love.

What is the To Be The Best We Can Be Fund?

The Fund is to help continue to improve provision for our pupils and ensure we can give them the best possible educational and extra-curricular experiences. Through the collective effort of the entire community, we can help to ensure that Our Lady of Victories continues to be a school which offers a safe, inspiring and creative learning environment where children feel valued and happy, regardless of their background.

Where will my donation go?

Our priority is renewing, enhancing and redecorating our hallways and staircases, the spaces that connect us all.

If we are successful in raising these funds, we plan for this remediation work to take place during the 2026 Easter holidays. It will be the final stage of a major infrastructure project that will be undertaken at the school to tackle water ingress.

If we exceed our target, then we will be able to refresh classrooms too.

Donations will be made to the To Be The Best We Can Be Fund, within the Saint John Southworth Trust Foundation. This helps the school strengthen and maintain the high standard of education offered to our pupils.

Is it safe to make my gift online?

Yes, all payments through our website are securely processed by reCAPTCHA. Alternatively, should you prefer to make a cash donation, this can be done via the school office.

All donations will come through our Foundation (meaning we can also claim gift aid to benefit pupils further).
