Olympic Sports sponsorship event (8 images)
We enjoyed taking part in keep fit led by Olympic sports athlete Nathan Fox and raising money through sponsorship to support other sports stars of the future. Maybe it will be one of us!

Borough Sports event (11 images)
Year 5 participated in indoor athletics competing against other Year 5 and 6 children across the borough.

Jewish Museum (16 images)
Year 5 went to the Jewish Museum today. They were taught all about the Passover feast and even got to taste some of the Sedar Plate for themselves.

Year 5 worked in pairs on a Space project. They presented their projects about the planets to the rest of the class.

Westmister Cathedral Advent Service (4 images)
Year 5 enjoyed a live nativity complete with donkey at Westminster Cathedral. Some of the children performed as angels in the drama.

Our Assembly today was all about our many talents that we have. We found out that Year 5 are a very talented group!

Bach Choir (4 images)
Year 5 started an exciting new workshop this week. The Bach Choir will be coming in every half term to work with Year 5, teaching them a song based on the poem 'The Pied Piper of Hamelin' by Robert Browning.

Year 5 Natural History Museum Scientist (29 images)
Year 5 were lucky enough this week to have a visitor from the Natural History Museum. The Scientist, Ashley, specialises in Space Rocks and talked to the children about where meteorites come from and the effect when they hit the earth. He even brought some meteorites in for the children to handle.

Ragged School Trip (21 images)
Year 5 were transported back in time to a Victorian Ragged School this week. The children had the opportunity to find out about life in a Victorian house, before having a lesson with the very scary Mrs Perkins! They were also taught about the punishments that children had in Victorian times.
